Disordered Eating Care at Emory Student Health

If you have been diagnosed with, are recovering from, or are currently experiencing any symptoms related to disordered eating including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, fear of weight gain, restriction, purging, or any variation of these, please schedule an appointment with our primary care and nutrition providers. We are adept at confidential collaboration regarding the care of students with eating disorders. We offer an array of outpatient level services supporting disordered eating including medical, psychological and nutritional care.

If you have recently stepped down from an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) or Residential Program, please reach out to our primary care and nutrition services teams right away so we can support you during your transition back to student dining and living. All enrolled Emory students may schedule a free, confidential appointment through the Student Patient Portal.

If you are considering entering a program for treatment and would like support or guidance, we can assist with this as well.

Disordered eating often occurs as a result of, or concurrently with, a mental health disorder so we will support your mental, as well as physical, heath. Please let us know if you would like assistance scheduling a Psychiatry appointment or you can schedule one yourself - learn more here.
