Spring 2023
Per the most recent CDC isolation guidelines, you should avoid travel after you test positive for COVID while you are still sick and in isolation. Do not travel on public transportation such as airplanes, buses, and trains if you will not be able to wear a high-quality mask or respirator when around others indoors for the full duration of your trip.

COVID testing is available at several campus sites as well as in the local community:
1. Screening Tests for those who are asymptomatic or who have been exposed (no signs of COVID-19): Use an at home antigen test, PCR test from the campus kiosk or visit Emory Forward for most up-to-date times and locations.
Kiosk Locations
Emory Point: Surface parking lot next to the CVS on Clifton Road
Emory Bookstore: Oxford Road in front of the Emory Bookstore
Oxford College: Whatcoat Street Building (Oxford Mail Center)
2. Diagnostic Tests for those who are symptomatic (showing signs of COVID-19): Students should perform a home antigen test initially and if positive, report the positive test on the Return to Campus Dashboard.
If you are symptomatic but your antigen test is negative, use a PCR test and continue to isolate until the PCR result is back (24-48 hours for kiosk testing). Another option if you have symptoms is to repeat your antigen test in 24 - 48 hours.
If you need an evaluation due to your symptoms, and/or if you need to access PCR testing due to continued negative antigen tests, contact Student Health Services.
Atlanta students can schedule an assessment through the Student Health Patient Portal or visit one of the sites below after hours or on weekends. Emory has partnered with DeKalb County to offer on-campus spaces for three PCR Test-and-Go kiosks, which are available to all community members. Each kiosk can be accessed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and can hold up to 700 COVID-19 PCR tests. Registration requires participants to enter insurance information but does not prevent anyone from accessing them if they are uninsured.
Same-day antigen testing and/or PCR tests within 24-48 hours
