Radiology (X-ray) at the Emory Clinic
Although Emory University Student Health Services (EUSHS) does not have on-site radiology services, The Emory Clinic has an outpatient radiology facility on the third floor of the 1525 Clifton Road Building, one floor above the EUSHS clinic. EUSHS clinicians can order x-ray studies on student patients and review the films digitally via Emory's confidential on-line radiology system. In addition, the films are available to all specialist physicians in the Emory network, in the event that a referral is indicated for further care. The Emory Clinic Radiology Service operates on a fee-for-service basis, billing is by The Emory Clinic itself (not EUSHS) and all charges are the responsibility of the patient. Radiology services are not covered by Emory tuition. In addition, Emory Healthcare (one of the largest healthcare organizations in the Southeast) offers a full array of scans and other imaging studies, once again on a fee-for-service basis.
