Prescription Medications
A limited number of medications are available in prepackaged containers from Emory University Student Health Services (EUSHS) clinicians during your visit for a fee (note: if you have the Student Health Insurance the copay is $10). Also, many prescription contraception medications are available. The EUSHS has been able to procure oral contraceptive pills at a reduced rate and these are available for purchase to eligible students. Click on the following link to view information about the Oral Contraceptive Pill Program. Local pharmacies are also an option. Carefully review your health insurance policy for information regarding benefits for medications. If you have a prescription plan as part of your health insurance package, be sure to bring it with you to Emory!
