Physical Exams
Emory University Student Health Services (EUSHS) performs physical examinations for a wide variety a purposes. All physical exams are done on an appointment basis only. Each Emory student has access to one annual wellness physical exam at no charge, including a man's annual wellness physical or a woman's annual pap and pelvic exam (pap smear and lab testing are done on a fee-for-service basis). Other types of physical examinations available at EUSHS on a fee-for-service basis include:
- Clearance physical to walk-on/tryout for Emory Varsity sports
- Medical and nursing school physicals
- ROTC physicals
- Visa or international travel physicals
- Peace Corps physicals
- Insurance physicals
- Military physicals
- US government form physicals (Public Health service, Embassy entry or exit physicals, etc.)
- Pre-operative clearance physicals
- Ordination physicals
- Outward Bound physicals
- Summer camp physicals
Once again, physicals exams (with the exception of a single annual wellness physical) are done on a fee-for-service basis and are not covered by Emory tuition.
