EUSHS Once Again Achieves National Accreditation

We are very pleased to announce that on January 8, 2007 Emory University Student Health Services (EUSHS) has received its second full three-year accreditation by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC), officially recognizing us for delivering excellent healthcare services to our students/patients. We were found to be in full compliance with all accreditation standards (there are several hundred), with no items requiring immediate correction.

EUSHS once again invited AAAHC to conduct this voluntary, peer-based survey of our organization in order to maintain a benchmark for uniform standards of quality care for our organization. We believe that voluntary participation in this nationally recognized process ensures our continued ability to provide exemplary service to our Emory students. EUSHS and the University of Georgia Student Health Service are the only two nationally accredited student health services in the State of Georgia.

This is a wonderful accomplishment that would not have happened without a strong and sustained commitment to quality by each and every EUSHS staff member, day in and day out. We are very proud of this accomplishment and very proud to be members of our Emory University and Emory Healthcare community.
