Eligibility for Service

Emory University Student Health Services (EUSHS) provides outpatient care for enrolled Emory students with a valid Emory ID card. International student's spouses, Domestic Partners and unmarried children over 18 years of age are also eligible for primary medical care if they are currently enrolled in the Emory Aetna Student Health Insurance Plan.  (Please note that the enrolled international Emory student must have purchased dependent coverage separately; it is not automatically provided by virtue of the international student’s enrollment in the plan.)   Care for eligible international student's dependents is provided by appointment on a fee-for-service basis.

Please note that Emory University employees attending courses under tuition courtesy are not eligible for care at EUSHS and should seek care with other primary care providers in the Emory Healthcare system or the local community.

Newly enrolling students become eligible for care at the Student Health Services:

  • August 15th for Fall Semester
  • January 8th for Spring Semester
  • May 18th for Summer Semester
