Nutrition Consultations
All enrolled Emory students are eligible for fifteen nutrition counseling appointments without charge each academic year. After the fifteenth appointment, students may continue with nutrition counseling for a fee-per-session.
Our licensed and registered dietitian can help you meet your goals of a balanced, healthful diet. She is also a great resource for students who want to better understand the connections between nutrition, sleep, stress and enhanced academic or athletic performance. The Ideal Group
Student Health and Counseling Services offers a group for female students with disordered eating who are actively working towards recovery. The open-ended group, named IDEAL (Improving Diet, Emotions, Attitudes, Lifestyle) is a psychoeducational group which will support each student's individual work with other providers . The weekly group is open to undergraduate and graduate women who have been screened by one of the group leaders. The group is facilitated by a multi-disciplinary team consisting of a psychologist, registered dietitian, and psychiatry resident.
