For students:
  • stress management
  • body image and eating disorders
  • assertiveness training
  • depression and suicide
For staff:
  • enhancing skills in working with college students
  • information regarding counseling center resources and the process of referring students to the counseling center

We will provide workshops on additional topics, depending upon the needs of the requesting organization.
To request an outreach program, please contact Dr. Jane Yang, Coordinator of Outreach, via email at jyang01@emory.edu or via phone at (404) 727-7450. All requests should be made a minimum of two to three weeks in advance of the workshop date.

Consultation Services

On request, staff members work with individual students, student organizations, student service offices, and academic departments to provide consultation services. People typically seek consultation services when they are concerned about a student and would like advisement about potential ways to assist the student with seeking help. If you would like to consult with a counseling center staff member, you may call (404) 727-7450 or come to our office located at 1462 Clifton Road, Suite 235.
