Welcome

The Emory University Student Counseling Center provides free, confidential counseling for enrolled undergraduate, graduate and professional students at Emory University. Consultation, outreach and educational workshops are provided for Emory's faculty, staff, and students.

The staff at the Counseling Center knows that student life is a transitional period and can bring pressure and stress. We try to help students understand this period, find ways of coping with crises, and grow from their experiences. We also work with administrators, academic agencies, and other campus agencies to increase the effectiveness of student services in the area of mental health.

An Emory student interested in arranging an appointment can call (404) 727-7450 or come to the Counseling Center between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Counselors are on call in case of emergency.

Click on the link above to take the anonymous, online Stress & Depression Questionnaire to see how you are doing and get a personalized response from a counselor.

*Please note that in order to insure that only Emory students take the screening, you will first be asked to provide your Emory net ID and password. This will IN NO WAY be linked to your responses on the screening.

The Stress & Depression Questionnaire is offered through Emory Cares 4 U, a program at Emory University with the goals of enhancing wellness, reducing mental health stigma, and preventing suicide. Emory Cares 4 U provides a large number of resources for students, friends, family members, partners, faculty, and staff at www.emorycaresforyou.emory.edu.
